Fault finding - Loss of power to hob
Fault finding today after a customer reported loss of power every time they tried to cook.
Poppy quickly directed me to the cause of the problem and it was a very simple fix, however it’s a shame a newly fitted board was left this way in the first place. Loose connections such as these cause arcing and are a major fire safety risk, especially when on circuits with the greatest loads.
We strongly recommend getting any issues you notice checked by a qualified electrician at the earliest opportunity. Most things are easy fixes and can prevent a lot of trouble down the line.
