Relaxed networking for Lincoln’s business community.
No pitches. No pressure. No awkward name badges.
Just good people, good conversation and a great local venue which changes every time.

Beers and Business is a community of local business owners and business representatives. It’s not a closed circle, and we actively invite new people to every meeting.
At the same time, it is technically invite-only.
Not because we’re exclusive, but because we’re protective of the atmosphere.
Over the last two plus years, by carefully curating the guest list, we’ve built something genuinely different in Lincoln. That means no sales teams turning up in packs, no random plus-ones, and no one coming along with the wrong expectations.
If someone would like to bring a guest, that’s absolutely fine, but we simply ask that they speak to the organisers first.
A get-together, not a networking club
Beers and Business is a get-together, not a networking club.
People don’t come to sell. They come to get to know one another and to catch up.
There are no stand-up pitches, no forced conversations, and no pressure to work the room. We share what’s going on locally, what we’re all up to, and we let genuine relationships build naturally.
Supporting independent venues in Lincoln
We support local independent venues around Lincoln, and our committee meets regularly to ensure we’re staying true to our values and keeping the community heading in the right direction.
No obligation to drink
Not everyone who comes to Beers and Business drinks.
Some people have a pint, some have a soft drink, and some have a coffee. It’s simply a place to build relationships in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Everyone is welcoming, and people are always happy to make introductions.

Possibly, yes.
We’re always open to welcoming new people, but because Beers and Business is a curated, invite-only community, we ask that you speak to the organisers first before bringing a guest.
That way we can keep the group balanced, protect the atmosphere, and make sure everyone attending understands what the event is (and what it isn’t).
